3 days of Hooper competition!

What to expect at this event:

We will be offering two ‘styles’ of Hooper courses in separate rings (four rings in total).
European Open Championship
(Shortened: Championship): a style in which distance handling is compulsory.
In this style, there are only Open Large and Open Small classes.
European Open Distance Cup
(Shortened: Distance Cup): a style in which distance handling is rewarded but not strictly compulsory.
In this style, there are Open Large, Open Small, Junior Large, Junior Small, Senior Large and Senior Small classes.

There is a maximum of 100 entries per ring.
Please note! You may only enter one style per dog.

There will be 2 different height classes
Large: dogs with a withers height of 43.00 cm or higher
Small: dogs with a withers height up to 42.99 cm

Costs: €80 per combination

Competition

  • On Thursday, June 24, 2027, the Vetcheck will take place and starting numbers will be issued .
  • On Friday, June 25, 2027, two individual courses will be run.
  • On Saturday, June 26, 2027, two individual courses will be run.
  • On the morning of Sunday, June 27, 2027, there will be one final individual course where points can be earned.

Afterward, the awards ceremony will take place, and 40% of the final ranking (all results from the completed laps) will receive a ticket for the final.

After the final we will know who can call themselves the winner of the 4th edition of the European Open Hoopers NL!

The Team Competition.

What to expect during this event:
A team consists of 2 runners.
The aim of the team course is to score points as a team.
These are recorded in a ranking.
The team course is a EO Distancel Cup course.
Team composition:

  • No restrictions regarding level/age.
  • A dog may only be part of one team, and a handler may not form a team with two dogs.
  • Once registration is complete, the teams will be randomly divided into a number of groups. The teams in these groups will compete against each other for the daily prizes per run. From each group, the top 40 per cent of the teams that started on Day 1 will go through to the final.

Costs: €50 per Team
There is a maximum of 105 teams

Team Competition

  • On Thursday, June 24, 2027, after the opening ceremony, one team course will be run.
  • On Friday, June 25, 2027, after the two individual courses, one team course will be run.
  • On Saturday, June 26, 2027, after the two individual courses, one team course will be run.
  • On Sunday,June 27, 2027, 40% of the final ranking (all results of the completed laps) will receive a ticket for the final.

After the final we will know which Team can call itself the winner of the 4th edition of the European Open Hoopers NL.
